Hi,

Outside of my Mac, I've been using a small indoor Terk HD antenna with an external HD converter (TV didn't come with one) for about 15 over the air channels. My Terk antenna doesn't pick up all the channels I want and I can't hook it up to two TVs at once (or at least I don't know how). To use my MacBook, I use a Mini DVI to VGA converter to hook it up to the TV. So I have lots of moving wires, antennas, etc.

What I would like to do is replace the Terk with high quality outdoor omnidirectional HD antenna, route it to Mac Mini, and have the Mac Mini convert the HD signal and feed it (along with other movie or music media as played) to both TVs. I don't know what equipment or configuration is best, and I'm looking for advice.

1. Is it possible to split the HDMI output of the Mac Mini to feed two computers?
2. Is it possible to have an antenna feed the Mac Mini, have it convert to HD, and send it to the TV?
3. Can it send it to two TVs at once? Can users be watching two different channels? To complicate it further, one TV has a converter and the other one uses a low grade COBY. The COBY doesn't pick up as many channels as the built in converter even when the antenna is in the same place. I'd rather replace the COBY with the Mac.
4. How would you recommend configuration of this? What equipment and software would be required for this setup?
5. Lastly, can I connect an FM/AM antenna to get local audio radio stations as well? (lower priority of course)

thanks!!!
Max
