In XP, you can change the computer's volume and screen brightness by clicking on icons in the system tray, but I'd like to be able to change them with function keys F1-F5 like in OSX. Is there a way to globally change what function keys do in XP?

If you have the Boot Camp Drivers installed (latest version is 1.3), then you should be able to already use the labeled function buttons at the top of the keyboard to adjust the brightness/volume and such. You might have to press the "Fn" key in the lower left at the same time to use the labeled control rather than the normal function key.
