Configuring Growl

Hello

I have now installed Growl, including growl safari, hardware growl and growl notify. (Running Lion)

I have followed the growl.info guidance, but it doesn't help me with my problem:

I searched this site and found somewhere that you want to open your programs (or relaunch) in order for them to show up in the growl application pane (system pref.)

Unfortunately though, they don't.
All that is showing is Hardwaregrowl & Growlsafari

What am I missing?

I just realized that they do appear, I guess that there are just a lot of standard applications that are not supported.
