A lot of times I’ll think of something I need to do while out in a run and create an event on my watch using Siri, activated with a double tap on my gen 1 AirPods. The event gets created correctly but if it conflicts with another event, Siri says its looks like this event overlaps with another one. Should I schedule it anyways?’

I can’t, for the life of me, figure out how to say ‘yes’ using the AirPods. It’s not such a big deal in the summer, but in the winter I’m usually wearing gloves
and have my jacket sleeve pulled over my watch. Has anyone figured out a way to ‘confirm’ the event using Siri? If I just say ‘confirm’ nothing happens. If I double tap the AirPod to invoke Siri, the event disappears.

I’m not sure if this would be rectified by moving to second gen AirPods. I know they can pick up Siri without needing the double tap but I’m Not sure if that would solve this issue.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, my first post was poorly worded. I've tried saying 'Confirm', 'OK,'Yes', etc, but the watch won't recognize anything. It's like Siri stops listening after the first command is complete. I can't figure out how to re-activate it to handle the command.

On my phone/Mac/iPad, once Siri asks the question about the conflict, it re-activates (with that little ping sound) so it can continue taking commands, but on the watch, it doesn't do that.
