I have recently bought a 15" Mac Pro Laptop and connected it via Bluetooth to a Sony Loudspeaker.

The speaker works fine with my desktop Compaq, Sony laptop and my Blackberry. However when playing music from my Mac, the music randomly distorts very badly . It will play ok for varying periods but sooner or later the distortion starts.

If I turn Airport off the music plays perfectly without any problems. I therefore conclude that there is a conflict between my WiFi and the Bluetooth signal.

My router is a Siemens 2.4GHz, my Laptop is 2.4GHz. Is this a problem.

Advice to this novice would be most welcome.

Thanks for that Jedimeister. It would appear that I should attempt to change my routers frequency.
