iPhone 14 Pro Confused 2X zoom and Action Cam 60FPS only 1080P

Hello,

I am a bit confused with the Iphone 14 pro
The main camera can also zoom 2X (but this is still a crop from the 48 MP Sensor)
Why would this be a nice feature when there is actual a real 2X optical lens present ??

Also it seems that action mode in 60FPS can only do 1080P.
Can someone confirm if this is true ?

The Telephoto lens on the 13/14 Pro is 3x, not 2x.

I think this annoyed some people as 2x is a real sweet spot, so this is a concession that allows users to get the framing of the 2x optical zoom that was on the iPhone 7 through 11 while still getting a 'full' 12MP photo.
