 Hi:)
I'm sure its been asked before but here goes. I've just bought the ipod 5g. Downloaded part of an mp4 off lime wire put it on and it worked no problem. So I tried to do another and it won't let me. I got the message that it needs converting and went on the instructions and followed them with the sample video.
It says when you have imported the sample into your library go to advanced and click "convert to ipod". sound easy but mine says "convert selection to aac". This just gives me the audio.

I'm sure your all far better at this stuff than me so can anyone solve this mystery please. Its my first pod and I'm a dumbass.

Cheers:(

have you upgraded itunes to 6.0.2 from the version 6.0.1 that i think the cd still comes with.

you shold try videora. i take dvd's and just rip them on my computer and put it in videora. it takes about 2 and half hours a video but it works.

I haven't even turned my PC on since I bought my Powerbook a year and a half ago.

I'm over it.... Done with the drama.
