confused about iScheduler purchase

when i pressed "buy" on the app it takes me to a page to buy..

but in instructs me to use XXXXXXXXXX as the IMEI number....but when you go to the purchase screen it says the IMEI number is a 15 digit number...

SO i put this number (from settings, about) in .....
i got confirmation of the purchase and they sent me a registration code...

now i launch the app and press activate...
do i put this registration code in ? if so it rejects it ...


it says invalid serial number....SERIAL # ????? huh ???

what am i doing wrong ?
