I'm a graphic designer getting ready to buy the 27" iMac. I am getting the 3.4ghz i5, 16 megs of ram, 1 TB Fusion drive and was sticking to the 2 gb graphics card. I will not be doing any gaming, or 3D rendering, just high Rez print work while using Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator CS6.

I have read on the forum that Photoshop users should upgrade to the 4 mg graphics card, where others have argued it won't bring much benefit to photoshop. I'm confused about what to get.

By the way, I am on a budget so I can't upgrade everything on this machine, so I want to focus on what counts.

Upgrade to GTX 780M, you'll definitely need it in the future unless you plan to upgrade the machine in a year or so.

The graphic card is one of the reasons why I bought the iMac. It's not something you can upgrade like RAM whatsoever.
