I'm going to upgrade my iPhone and iPad (both with lightning port). Since USB-C is new to me, and there are so many different power adapters sold by Apple (20W, 30W, 35W dual, etc.), I don't know which power adapter to buy.

I've read that iPhone 16 does fast charging with 20W and higher. Does fast charging damage the battery? Should I get lower than 20W? I can't seem to find an Apple power adapter that is less than 20W. Thanks for your advice!

I'd say if you're just going to use it as an extra charger around the house, get the cheapest one. 20W will work fine for your purposes.
