iPad Pro Confused by Apple Sim

Will the Pro ONLY work with Apple Air? What about a Verizon SIM currently used in a small tablet?

I think the OP means will the iPad Pro work only with the Apple SIM. And I think the answer is, at this point, nobody can say for sure. I think activation questions will be resolved closer to launch.

Correct. I found this on the website:

Since iPad is an unlocked device, you can also install a local carrier SIM if that’s a better solution.

They are talking about being overseas but if it works there it should here. No?

I guess Apple SIM is for special pricing and short/long terms.

My Mini 4 came with an Apple sim. Before I turned it on for the first time, I replaced it with an ATT sim from an iPad Air 1 and it went straight to LTE instantly. Yeah, it should work but no one will know for sure till release.
