So i live in India. I'm confused between the mac mini and the macbook pro. i am little tight on budget and can't afford a high end device.
I'll mainly be using my mac for mild gaming(mainly dota2) a bit of photoshop, java programming, 3d designing sometimes( very rarely), a lot of browsing and downloading, using microsoft office and iwork, ilife etc
The products i can afford are:

1 2.5 GHz Dual core mac mini + apple wireless keyboard + magic trackpad
It is the cheapest mac mini which costs about $729 and has 3rd gen core i5 processor, 4gb of ram, 500gb storage and intel hd 4000
(add another 150 bucks for keyboard and trackpad)

2 2.3 GHz Quad core mac mini + apple wireless keyboard + magic trackpad
The high end mac mini which costs about $965 and has a 3rd gen core i7 processor, 4gb of ram, 1TB of storage and intel hd 4000
(add another 150 bucks for the keyboard and trackpad again)

I was hoping if i could get an 8gb ram. I cant upgrade from a 4 gb to an 8gb one as in my country there is no online apple store.
Another question: is there gonna be a new mac mini releasing later this year, cause i am gonna buy my mac during the holiday season.
The higher end mac mini will be a little tight on my pocket, so is it really worth the higher price or there is no significant difference.

Now lets go to the macbook

3 Macbook pro 13"
It'll have a 2.5 GHz 3rdn core i5, 4gb ram, 500 gb storage and intel hd 4000
(this one is a little low on ram too.)
It costs about $1400
This one's way too high on my pocket, but if its worth it, it may take me about 6 months to persuade dad about it and collect some money of my own, but i'll wait.

Also, the retina display macbook 13" costs about $1700 and has a 128 gb storage ssd. Is there a that big a difference between the normal and retina display cuz i have an ipad 3 and when i use my brother's ipad 2, i can easily notice the difference. But if i get a mac mini, i have an hd tv to connect it to.
Also i have a 720p monitor.

And yes, if i buy the lower end mac mini, i also get an iphone 5c in february next year.
So what should i do. I am switching from pc to mac and used to use a sony vaio laptop with 2gb ram, intel hd 3000, and intel pentium dual core processor and i am really fed up of it. I have never used a mac cause it is very uncommon in my country and i just want my experience to be the best possible.
I appreciate your help

Thanks
Until then.
Shubham

P.S. I am gonna use this for like 5 years before buying a new mac or pc. So please consider this too?
