Confused newbie needs help please

I managed to jailbreak my 3GS (4.2.1) a few weeks ago using redsn0w 0.9.6b4 on my Mac. It is a tethered jailbreak but has not given me any problems.

I am shortly going to lose access to my Mac in favour of a Windows machine. Will I still be able to boot my phone using a Windows version of redsn0w and if so which version should I use?

Yes, you can. Redsn0w is for both Mac and Windows.
