Hey all. I've seen a lot of conflicting information about whether my Early 2015 13" Macbook Pro will work with the LG UltraFine 4k Monitor. I know it won't charge, but can anyone tell me if the screen will run with the Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3/USB-C adaptor?
My 2015 Macbook Pro is running extremely well, and I have zero need to upgrade it apart from the lack of being able to find a good, retina-like compatible monitor. If only I could find something that would work well, and was fairly future proof in case I do buy a new laptop in a year or so.
If the 4k LG UltraFine won't work at all, can someone recommend a 4k monitor that will work well with my MBP, and ideally isn't too big (21-24")? I'll go to 27" but only if there's nothing smaller available. My budget is about $750USD.
