I click on App Store --> Updates on the iPhone, and then click Updates again to make sure it is doing a fresh search for updates. It finishes and says "All Apps Up-to-date." on the screen.

The I go into iTumes, click the Applications page in Library, and there is a "Check for Updates" link at the bottom of the page. I click it, and it finds several updates for apps that I've downloaded. I download them, and it syncs them onto the iPhone.

Am I misunderstanding how the Updates function on the iPhone itself is supposed to work? Why doesn't it find the updates that are available?

Thanks.

i think cause the system is "not quite right" yet.

i got an app update for facebook today, but not for any of the other apps that required updating.

so i suppose we just wait and see what happens :)
