First, I'd like to know if doing so would result in any poor resolution or general bad looking displays. I'd be looking to connect my 15" MBP with Thunderbolt to a TV in my dorm room. I'd buy a new TV, probably between 18" and 24" or the biggest that will fit into my desk. I'd place my MBP on the pullout shelf almost directly below the TV. Could someone let me know if this is feasible, and if it is, what type of connection (HDMI, DVI, component, etc.) would provide the highest quality display?
