Hi all,
I have a mid 2014 13 inch MBP and 2 external monitors. 1 has a native resolution of 1920x1200 and the other of 1680x1050. The first monitor is connected via HDMI and the second one via a displayport-VGA adapter. My problem is that I can't get the native resolution of the second monitor to work. I can only choose between 800x600 and 1280x1024. Is there a solution to this problem?

Kind regards,
Koen

might be a bad VGA cord or adapter. Any way you can try it with a DVI adapter instead (the monitor also has to have dvi input)?

When I disconnect the 1920x1200 resolution monitor, the 1680x1050 resolution monitor does work at its native resolution(automatically adjusts) so the problem only occurs when connecting the 2 monitors at once.

Odd. Not sure. I have a similar setup with a 15" rmbp (late 2013), and it works fine. Definitely sounds like a software problem, not a hardware problem.
