I have a 2011 MBA which has 1 thunderbolt/MiniDP port which I currently use with a MiniDP to DVI adapter to plug into my monitor. When I absolutely need to plug in, I have a USB2 10/100 ethernet adapter but good wifi is usually faster.

I am moving to a new office which is going to have 100/100mbps internet and I would like to buy and use the Apple thunderbolt ethernet adapter to get the most of that speed. I also want to plug in to an external monitor. Is there some sort of "splitter" I could use for my thunderbolt port so that I could use both? Is there any other device I could use where I could both connect to gigabit ethernet and an external DVI monitor?

I'm not aware of any sort of thunderbolt hubs - from what I understand the spec allows for them. You can daisy chain devices but obviously your monitor would have to support thunderbolt.
