Hi All

I'm adding a NAS to store my itunes library.
Currently I have the Time Capsule set up as a wireless network connected as a bridge to my router via ethernet.

I assume the connection will be quicker if connected directly to the time capsule, however the install software can't see it when connected.

Any changes I need to make on the Time Capsule to allow this?

Cheers Phil

Time Machine does not support backup to a network drive other than Apple Time Capsule.

However some enterprising people over on the Netgear ReadyNAS site have figured out how to enable Time Machine backup to a network drive, looking at the instructions there's no reason why it should not work for all network drives, i.e. not just Netgear ReadyNAS devices.

Take a look at http://www.readynas.com/?p=253, the instructions are a little involved though.
