Hi everyone ?

for my car I got myself an iPhone mount which integrates Apple's MagSafe Charger (https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MHXH3AM/A/magsafe-charger)

Does anyone know if there's a way to connect this MagSafe Charger's USB-C cable to an existing USB-A socket in my car?

I can use this outlet via USB-A cables to only charge or to additionally connect Data / music to my car's radio.
So i was hoping for this to work with one of these tiny usb-a to usb-c adapters. It did not work, it did not charge my iPhone 13 Pro :-/ Did I miss something?

I would rather avoid having to use my cigarette lighter socket for this (cable will be longer, more visible, and its always on), so any hint is greatly appreciated :)

I bought a dual charger for my outlet. I also bought the shortest cable I could that would work. It’s looks a lot cleaner with the short cable.
