Connect iMac (Lamp) speakers to iBook g4

Hey,
I want to hook my iBook g4 up to my iMac speakers. Unfortunately the speakers don't connect to the iBook. Can anyone help me out? Is there an adaptor out there I can buy?

The only product that I'm aware of that can do this is Griffin's iFire. It hooks up via firewire, and provides a 2.5mm port necessary for the Apple Pro Speakers. It needs to be firewire, because those speakers take power from the machine itself.
