Hi All,

I have 2 questions. i am able to connect my macbook to the lcd with the DVI adapter.

My first question is how to maximize the lcd quality. I don't like what i see on the screen. My LCD has a HDMI input. Will it be big difference if i change to that adapter?

Below is my graphic card information:

Chipset Model: NVIDIA GeForce 9400M
Type: GPU
Bus: PCI
VRAM (Total): 256 MB

My second question is that when i close the macbook lid, the screen went blank too. Is there a way that i can close my macbook screen and still use it?
I will get an external keyboard if it works.

I bought the lcd is more for playing starcraft 2.

Thank you in advance for all the advice.

Unlikely, as both (HDMI and DVI) are already digital. The "abysmal" screen might be due to it using an inferior panel perhaps or that the 1920 x 1080 pixel are stretched out to 23".

"Bought" or "thought"?
