I have a 23" Apple Cinema Display but it only accepts DVI input and my laptop only has HDMI output.

Would I be able to buy a HDMI to DVI-I converter without loosing any signal quality? If so, would it be expensive? I know some of them are upwards of $300.

Three hundred?!

Good heavens, no! :D

You need a Male HDMI to female DVI adapter. Know that audio will not work because

1. DVI doesn't carry audio.
2. There aren't any built-in speakers.

I'm looking on Monoprice.com for one right now.

There you are! Three dollars. Much better than 300, wouldn't you say?

Oh, dear... that's DVI-D... Is the Cinema Display DVI-I? At any rate, Monoprice.com is where you want to go for ALL of your cables or adapters in the future.
