Connect right speaker with left speaker on MacBook Pro 15'' 2011

Hello ! I accidentally broke the right speaker connector (with 2 red and two black cables) and wonder if I can connect the right speaker cables to the left speaker on the motherboard? (There is also the subwoofer but I doubt that it is possible).
