Connect to external monitor question?

Hi guys,

I currently connect my 2013 MBA to a 24" Samsung monitor with a Displayport/HDMI converter. It works ok, but I miss the clarity that I had with a desktop PC. Would buy a 27" monitor with displayport connections such as below really help? Or, would it just make my poor resolution just be more obvious?

You're outputting a digital signal - as long as you have the resolution the same the output from your Air isn't going to be any better or worse than a desktop.

Sounds like you're mirroring the MBA's resolution?
