Every time I boot up my mac and login it searches for a fileserver. It only searches for this file server (a g5 on the network) if that fileserver is on. If it isn't it doesn't search for it.

So when the dialog appears the beach ball keeps spinning and nothing happens. I can't cancel it, I can't hit options, and i can't hit connect. I can run other apps fine BUT that windows FLOATS ABOVE EVERYTHING. I DON'T WANT TO CONNECT TO A FILESERVER ON BOOTUP AUTOMATIICLY. I don't know why its doing it. I checked startup items but i couldn't find anything.

The machine is running 10.3.5 problems happened under 10.3.1 as well its a dual 450mhz machine. The g5 is also running 10.3.5.

Any help would be much appreciated.
