Connect to Samba by hostname

Im currently connecting to Samba by Smb://IP

but the other day i used i used something similar to

smb://Workgroup;User@host\Share
but it doesnt work

i preferred this way for 2 reasons

1) says the name in the bar on the left
2)connects on login.

can anyone tell me the correct command?
