Connect to same network server with two different user accounts?

I’m running 10.9.3 and trying to get started with a Synology NAS. (DS213j) I created two users, one for backups (with a quota to keep things under control) and one for other files. The trouble is it seems I can only connect as one user at a time. Surely there must be a way to connect both user accounts at the same time to access both network shares?

I’ve tried Googling and searching but I’m not having much luck.
