How can i connect my 2011 mba to my new samsung tv?

Is there such thing as a thunderbolt to HDMI? that would be awesome. or usb to hdmi?

Thunderbolt uses the same connector as Mini DisplayPort so any mDP to HDMI adapter will work.

No. Thunderbolt is based on DisplayPort 1.1a standard so it's natively compatible with mDP. Besides, no TB to HDMI adapter exists, and there is no need to.
