Connect to TV

Hi,

Can anyone please advise me on the type of lead I need to connect my MacBook Pro to a Samsung Smart TV. I make a lot of home movie DVD's and would like to view/edit etc on my TV. (Also can anyone recommend a good keyboard for using with the TV when not connected to my Mac)? I'm no expert so please don't be to technical in your replies! Thank you.

Same system. I bought a mini display cable to HDMI off Amazon. That's pretty simple. You can also spend short money on an AppleTV and just stream it over Airplay.

It doesn't have an HDMI port. You need to get the cable I linked to.

Thanks. Didn't know that there also exists a direkt cable. I have the female hdmi adapter to display port which of course than needs a hdmi cable in between.
