I need to connect an XP laptop to a network printer (Plugged into my Airport Base Station) without using Bonjour for Windows software. This is due to an issue with Bonjour that doesn't allow it to work with VPN clients connected; as this is a work laptop, I need to find a way around this. Anyone have any advice?

PS. I also have a Mac computer sharing the printer with Windows sharing enabled, however when I connect to the Mac through the XP laptop nothing shows up under the Printers and Faxes folder.

Because the VPN makes your computer part of the remote system, it is quite possible that you can't get around this. The same thing happens to me with Citrix. But it's worth a try...
Setup the printer as a local printer, create new Standard TCP/IP port, and when given the option, select raw port 9100. (by the way, this equals HP Jetdirect protocol on OS X)
