connect360 network issues

Ok here i go....
My xbox is hard wired to my netgear router. my macbook pro is connected to the net through wifi.

Now here lies the problem.
My xbox cant see my macbook and my macbook cant see my xbox.
when i do search for my mackbok with the xbox it just says fail, no computers found..
Any ideas????

Did you start "sharing" in Connect360 first?

How are you "searching" for your computer as you put it?

You should simply go to MyXbox and go to "video" for example (for movies) and hit the "x" button, then you should see your computer.

thats the thing when i go there a few choices come up, download, potrtable device, computer. but when i go to computer it says to go to xbox.com/pcsetup
