Connected to wifi but no internet connection on

Hi, I am having issues connecting to both my MacBook Pro and iPhone 5S. I am connected to wifi but when I try to use the internet I get the message "DNS_Probe_finished_no_interent"I've had this issue before and usually just renew DHCP or set a different IP but that has not worked this time. Whenever this usually happens my iPhone wifi still works but this time it's not. Also I use my buildings wifi so I don't have access to a router, I called them and they said they haven't had any issues with their wifi today. I've rebooted both my laptop and phone several times, renewed DHCP, and set IP address to 8.8.8.8, I'm not really sure what else to do and the fact that both my phone and laptop aren't connecting has me worried, but I have no idea what the issue could be.
