Connecting 12" iBook to 20" ACD

i'm going to buy a new iBook today, and i was wondering what cable i need to connect it to a 20" apple display

you'll need a vga to dvi converter, not just a cable. if you havent bought the ACD yet, consider the dell 2005FPW. it has vga input and will work natively with your ibook. to connect to either you'll first need an adapter to convert mini vga (your ibook's video out) to regular vga.

Nope I doubt that, the iBook was not design to properly run a second display unless you just want to clone the image at 1024x768.

There are some hacks out there and use at your own risk!
