Connecting 2 27inch IMac screens together

I have 2 IMacs both the new 27 inches in our studio. I haven't connected them together as yet through thunderbolt but wanted to ask can you drag windows from one to the other? will tinker with this soon when i actually get a thunderbolt cord but is any one doing this?
