Hi all I have an iMac 8.1 core duo 2.66ghz 4gb ram . I use it to produce and edit music using ableton live and native instruments komplete 8 plug INS . Being 3 years old it's starting to give me issues so I'm thinking of upgrading . My question is can I link this with another iMac to create dual monitors I know it can be done with the New i5 i7 based iMacs so I'm hoping if can be done with the older iMacs . Even if I get the same year 2.8gh im not fussed .
Thanks in advance
Regards
Grant

The older iMac cannot be used as a display for another machine. Only the newer ones have that ability.
