Hi everyone.

Here is what I am dealing with. I have a mac mini in my bedroom connected to my wireless network. I also have a nfusion solaris FTA receiver in my bedroom. The FTA needs to be connected to the internet so i figured I could just enable internet connection sharing on the mini and connect the FTA to the Mini's ethernet port. This however is not working. The FTA is not being assigned a DHCP IP address for some reason. If I connect my MBP to the ethernet port on the mini it shares the internet just fine. I've tried both a crossover cable and a regular ethernet cable. Is there any reason this setup would not work? my next step will be to try an ethernet/wireless bridge. I'd just like to get some more info before ponying up $100.

Cheers
DD
