Connecting a thunderbolt drive to a USB port?

Hello,

i am thinking of buying the WD - My Passport Pro 2TB External Thunderbolt Portable RAID Hard Drive

and i was wondering if an adaptor to USB 3 exists so that i ll be able to use it with other laptops that do not have a thunderbolt port.

Has double the capacity, the same speed and it's less expensive... I really can't see a reason to go for the wb one.
