I have searched the forums and only found thread a couple years ago and don't apply to the new iMac's.

I am into vinyl records (LP's) and currently have a Dell tower. My turntable is connected to my stereo receiver, when I want to record to my PC from my turntable I just use the "audio line in" from my receiver to my Dell tower line in.

On the new iMac's they removed the "audio line in" so how would I connect audio into the current iMac?

I know on the Mac Mini they still have the "audio in" on the back so that would work but what about the current desktop iMac?

The cheapest option is to buy a Griffin iMic, which is about £20.

You can connect your turntable up to it directly, or via your receiver - whichever you prefer.
