I recently went and bought myself an ACD (Not considering thunderbolt as I'm a PC user and I'm just after a display, not all the bonuses of the thunderbolt. Since they appear to be exactly the same LG panel, I'm fine with not having the thunderbolt)
My question is how are the third party adapters for female Mini-DP to male DP? I did some digging and found a few, but I can't be sure of their quality. I've heard a bad quality adapter can mess up the quality of the display a bit. Has anyone got a recommended cable for this purpose?
It's a shame I don't have an ATI card, but I have a GTX 680 which has one full sized DP.
