I am new to Mac. I'd like to establish digital connection to Acer X223 W monitor. I bought a Dynex (Best Buy) mini display port cord and connected Acer DVI cord to it and DVI port on monitor. I can't get a signal to the monitor. I've tried monitors under system preferences, F7 and F7 with command, etc. Can I make Macbook Pro work with this Acer monitor, or do I likely have a bad Dynex instead of apple mini display port cord?
