Connecting Airpods to iMac?

Is there some possible way to connect airpods to the iMac that doesn't have macOS installed?
 
Sure, they pair with Bluetooth computers like regular bluetooth headsets pair (push a button on charging case) They need 10.12 to work without the normal pairing process.
