Connecting an Epson R300 to my MBP

I bought an R300 12 months ago for my windows pc everything was fine, ive now seen the light and recently purchased a MBP 2.33.
My problem is this i have brought the printer into work to connect upto my MBP but realised that i no longer have the installation disk.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where i can download the relevant files and or drivers, so i can use the printer on my mac please.

Just try to add it to the printer list in Printer configuration. There's a fair chance it will be recognised without installing. Or am I wrong ?

Thanks, your right it has recognised it. But in trying to print a picture on 6x4 it only used half of the sheet. is there a specific program i should open the photos in to print.
when i ran the printer through my pc there was an epson print program that made it easy. Is it possible to download this for mac?

a quick google brings me to this page. You better download the appropriate file and run the installer.
