I have a new IPad Pro m4; after watching a lot of YouTube I saw that connecting an this device to another display was very possible. However, none were Apple Thunderbolt displays; the 2011-2016 model. It uses a thunderbolt 2 connection so I bought the adapter. I cannot get the display to react. That’s what I call it since it has no external controls; relies on the Mac to send a signal.

Does anyone know if this is a fools errand or is there a way to get the monitor to recognize the IPad?

Thanks,

Jason
