connecting camera problem

I have a sony HDR-SR11E camera and when I connect it to my computer, the iPhoto open up automatically, but every time I open iMovie and click File>Import from Camera the next thing happen is Import From: Built-in-iSight opened up, I've tried to change the camera but nothing changed? How to connect my cam to iMovie? Help, please.
