hey, I know this is mostly a PC question but I know the MR community is pretty knowledgeable, overall. I connect my PC to my 27" TV via svideo and the quality is just not high enough, aka i cant really read most of the text. this isnt the worst thing in the world, since i only use my PC to play games, but i was wondering if i used composite cables would my picture be better? my pc uses a foxconn 7900GS 256MB, which came with a svideo to composite cable converter . is it worth getting these cables, the tv is just a standard flat crt 480p setup so im not expecting much. thanks for the helpin advance

Other than making sure that the output to the TV is set to the optimal resolution for the TV, there is not much we can do. Computer images displayed on TVs (particulary CRTs) are inherently bad.

Also, the composite cannot be better as it is using the same signal that the s-video is. You can't gain quality through an adapter.
