Connecting External Monior?

ok i connected an external monitor to my mbp but now i chose mirror display in system prefrences somehow the mbps monitor is still on n i cant shut the monitor down if i shut iiit down it turns into sleep mode n cannot be waken upi by the external keyboard or external mouse

Download insomniaX, it lets you shut the lid and still stay powered on...

to delete it just find it in the apps folder, you have to turn on your computer with your external keyboard and keep the laptop lid shut
