Connecting HD to enclosure for MacBook

I have a new HD to put in my MacBook. The problem is the HD can't connect to the enclosure because I'm missing the piece that allows the HD to connect to the enclosure. I thought the enclosure would come with it but it doesn't. So I need to know where to get the connector if anyone knows. Also if my description was confusing I've included pics of the two pieces I need to connect.

You need another enclosure, as your enclosure has the so-called P-ATA (IDE) connection and your HDD has the "newer" S-ATA connection, thus you need an enclosure for 2.5" S-ATA HDDs, they cost around 10 USD and more.

The HD in your pic is a SATA HD and the other pic shows an adapter for an ide HD and they're not the same.
You need an 2.5" enclosure like this, there are many on greedbay (ebay) to choose from.
