What do i need to connect my ibook to the tv. Along with the ibook came an connector for monitors, but what about the tv ??

You need a RCA/S-Video adapter that you can get for $20 at the apple.com store. Just go to the iBook page and then find the accessories for it.

Once you get the ibook hooked up to the tv, reply regarding the quality. I've heard that tv's only support 640 x 480. Good Luck.

NTSC is something like 720 X 512 or something wierd like that. Use S-Video if you have those inputs on your TV, the quality will be much better. My friend did a projector with S-Video and it was pretty terrible though.
