Connecting ICS Andriod devices to OS X. MTP?

Hello all.

I have an Android phone with Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and I cannot connect it to my MBA via USB. With Android 2.3, they had USB debugging which would allow USB mass storage mode. Now that ICS has removed that option I am left with 2 options to get data off my Android phone:

1. Kies Air
2. Email

Option #1 is not viable when I am not at home, and #2 I can only send so many attachments.

I tried the Android File Transfer app does not appear to work on my MBA.

So, is there a way to get MTP working on OS X?
